Because very few people here can give a good answer, I’ll give an answer as a market socialist myself.
Market socialism is a variant of socialism, a system where the means of production are publicly owned, where workers democratically run businesses while competing under a free market. Depending on the market socialist, it might be a regulated market, or a free market. Most market socialists generally support government funded social security programs such as free healthcare, but there are market socialists who would rather have it be funded by the free market.
State capitalism is when a government influences and manipulates a market for their own political gains.

There is some overlap, thanks to the twists and turns of anarchist history, but mutualism began, in the works of Proudhon, as an approach that rejected simple emphases on either the individual or society—at a time when approaches that emphasized the need to account for both individual and collective elements was fairly common. (Individualisme and socialisme emerged in French in the 1830s to describe undesirable extremes. But, of course, the terms quickly developed a life of their own.)
Mutualism was then redefined in the late 19th century—in large part by non-mutualists—as an ideological foil for communistic "modern anarchism" (to use Kropotkin's label), designating a range of non-communist anarchisms. And Proudhon and his generation were an important influence on the anarchist individualists of the late 19th and 20th century, both in the US (where folks like Benjamin R. Tucker were important figures) and elsewhere. By the 1920s, many—perhaps most—of the mutualist periodicals mixed the influences of Proudhon and Stirner quite freely.
As mutualism reemerged as an active tendency around 2000, the various influences were again fairly mixed up, with not much separation in specifically mutualist circles between individualists believing in some form of natural rights, Stirnerite egoists and those who were influenced by Proudhon. But other forms of individualism had emerged or were emerging—including natural-rights-based forms close to traditional liberalism and egoist forms associated with the post-left—with no connection or negative responses to the mutualist tradition. And serious modern mutualist theory fairly quickly moved beyond the confines of Tucker-era individualism, both by recovering substantial amounts of Proudhonian thought and by incorporating various more recent developments. We're gradually coming to terms with all those complicated overlaps, but, for the moment, I'm not sure you can say much more, in general terms, than to observe that "mutualism" and "anarchist individualism" are both internal complex and overlapping to some degree.
Is individualist anarchism (Tuckerite Mutualism, Egoism, etc.) ableist? : r/Anarchy101

Missing
I was chatting on an anarchist forum when I found a disabled 53 year old anarchist in a flamewar against individualist/free-market anarchists of Mutualist, Egoist, and AnCapitalist flavors. He seemed pretty enraged at the solutions market anarchists were attempting to propose regarding the sick, disabled, and elderly, and accused non-Communist anarchists of being privileged and ableist, unappeased by claims that family would help the elderly when he had none left living that could, or that charity would be enough. To copy-paste some of what he said,
Since I became an anarchist, not ONE anarchist has been able to answer me how we are going to support all of the disabled people, all the seniors, & people on welfare. They all seem to think people are just going to donate money & I disagree.
Nearly all anarchist tendencies can and do overlap, and individualism and collectivism are not mutually exclusive.
The differences are usually the tactics. Individualists tend to reject forming organizations dedicated to revolution and instead focus on personal struggle through natural human bonds. Collectivists like yourself believe in direct democracy and creating democratic and participatory structures that empowers everyone to equal sovereignty. Individualists like myself believe that you have to first empower yourself by revolting against the system, and by doing so, you inspire others to empower themselves.
Also, human organization typically differs. The syndicalist union, worker co-op, commune, etc., are permanent fixtures of a human's life. While you may have equal say, ultimately your life is going to revolve around your community. That means that your future happiness and success are dependent on others in the community. Ultimately, solidarity revolves around an obligation to others, or an ideology.
Individualists prefer temporary human associations based on relevancy. We rely more on natural human bonds for solidarity, founded by shared experience and a trusting history. Friends, family, comrades-at-arms, squat mates, teammates. Our own social network is our commune, and it's different than anyone else's. The term used in the theory is affinity group. We form these groups which have different purposes in our lives. Some are life-long bonds, like strong familial ties. Some are temporary bonds through collective struggle, like a black bloc. But to try and force some sort of permanency through it creates an obligation, and obligation breeds resentment. The central focus of our lives is ourselves, and as our interests and others' interests align, we will work together until such time as our interests part, and then we will part.
For a fun literary example, Kurt Vonnegut's "Cat's Cradle" has a fictitious religion in it, of which its chief tenant is that the religion itself is false. One of the beliefs of the religion is found in the term karass, which is a human relationship created by fate. It can vary in size from two to thousands of people, who all share a common purpose, but may not know it. Eventually the members of a karass find each other as they need to. A granfalloon on the other hand, is a false karass where people think there is some sort of bond, but there is not. Like Hoosiers, Americans, Christians, anarchists. I think an affinity group is a karass, and a commune, union, co-op, business, etc., is a granfalloon.

Libertarian socialism is a broad category that contains all most anarchist tendencies plus libertarian Marxists.
Anarcho-communism is when you end hierarchical organization and then reorganize society by the maxim "from each according to their ability, to each according to their needs," by creating communes. This society is moneyless.
Mutualism is where you have a stateless market society where a capitalist class is prevented from arising by using mutual credit to ensure that every person can gain control over capital personally, meaning the economy is one of independent producers or worker cooperatives. These are still firms and produce commodities for sale on the market in return for money, but a capitalist class cannot take hold because all people have equal access to controlling capital
Proudhon's mutualism was the first of the explicitly anarchist philosophies, before the various schools of anarchism defined themselves in economic terms, so it is distinguished from most other forms of anarchism by the fact that it does not preclude some form of market exchange. (Communism, of course, doespreclude market exchange.) But the heart of the original mutualism was Proudhon's social science, which started with a critique of exploitation in both the economic sphere ("property is theft") and the political sphere ("governmentalism"), with that critique based on an analysis of "collective force" (the effects of social cooperation and association.)
There are two primary modern forms of anarchist mutualism: 1) a "neo-Proudhonian" tendency, which is engaged in recovering and applying Proudhon's social scientific thought; and 2) a "free-market anti-capitalist" form of market anarchism, which draws much of its inspiration from the individualist anarchism of Benjamin R. Tucker. The second is primarily concerned with the elimination of monopoly conditions in the economy. For more info on the first, you might check out the AMA sessions on r/DebateAnarchism (2014and 2017) or just ask more questions here.
In terms of the differences between mutualism and anti-state capitalism, the resulting economies are going to have vastly different characters, since capitalism depends on mechanisms for the accumulation of capital (starting with exploitation) and mutualism is likely to emphasize largely on the circulation of resources. (Proudhon was even theoretically opposed to the accumulation of savings.)

Eventually in these markets there will be a system of conditional (but more of a formality type of conditional) private /property rights or where enterprises would be in private hands wherever it is viable . The transfer to private recipients public services that were previously provided by government. (i.e the government would also privatize previous public services)
The service and companies transferred to private ownership would belong to diverse sects. Industries would be privatized en mass by the government (including banks, railways, shipping channels, social insurance etc). State ownership wouldn’t be common unless it is for emergency (like huge war) situations but for those rarer cases there would be optional clauses This privatization would be within increased state control over the entire economy via interference and regulation. The government would regulate and control groups or syndicates of companies most of which would have previously regulated themselves.
There would be partnerships between the government and businesses .Companies would be encouraged to support the government’s economic goals but they wouldn’t really be punished if they didn’t do so state profits are retained by enterprises rather than being distributed among the population in a social dividend or similar scheme, which are central features in most models of market socialism
Common ownership including private sector groups with government officials in non government roles , citizen groups, GONGOs and NGOs in the socialist market economy which would consist of state owned assets (with less direct state influence ,really government would be used in the state asset manner primarily to step in ever so slightly to make sure the assets part is functional), Collective people owned enterprises (people would be collectivized and then own enterprises) and the Municipally owned shares of mixed enterprises
I am a Social Democrat (Third Way) , Libertarian Anarchist , Libertarian Communist (fiscally conservative) and Peronist (with elements of De Francism
I support the Labour Party UK (New Labour/Third Way/Third Way Social Democracy) and the UK government in general since the leadership of Tony Blair.
Besides me supporting Third Way Social Democracy, I also support '1990s Swedish Social Democratic Party ' like Social Democracy and modern Nordic Social Democracy, the latter of which runs tight budgets and are generally very concerned with keeping debt low and running budget surpluses.
I support our current economically lame society evolving into a Triangulation variant of a Neoliberal 2.0 (i.e State Liberal) and Third Way (Anthony Giddens true Third Way) version of J Bidenism Psuedo ‘Systematic Socialism/Socialism with Chinese characteristics’ that uses Degrowth commons-Social commons as specific double safety nets
In this evolved economy, the Chicago school of economics and State Economic Liberalism-State Liberalism would generally be employed. The economy would grow like it it did in Chile decades ago
Economic liberalism opposes government intervention in the economy when it leads to2] They are supportive of a strong state that protects the right to property and enforces contracts.[2] They may also support government interventions to resolve market failures.[2] Ordoliberalism and various schools of social liberalism based on classical liberalism include a broader role for the state but do not seek to replace private enterprise and the free market with public enterprise and economic planning.[13][14] A social market economy is a largely free-market economy based on a free price system and private property that is supportive of government activity to promote competition in markets and social welfare programs to address social inequalities that result from market outcomes.[13][14]

Moreover, there would be regulation (or more regulation) of the money supply by central banks (in the form of monetarism). There could be increased taxes in this future system to avoid deficit spending, but in this future system, there would be a preferable preference to decrease spending to avoid deficit spendingfiscon

Basically, indirect or less or government intervention and protectionism in the market economy when it inhibits free trade and competition but more government intervention to protect property rights and resolve market failures. (ecolib)
I accept the economic efficiency of markets in many cases and thus I believe that in this future system they should and would be detached from capitalism to achieve the aims of socialism while at the same time, maintaining the ‘efficiency’ of capitalism third way

This a way of organizing society would be based on the principle of 'from each according to ability, to each according to need' libcom fiscon. Eventually through this there would be no division between employers and workers, and rich and poor, there is no longer a need for a body of organised violence controlled by a small number of people, like the police, to protect the property of the rich and enforce poverty, wage labour and even starvation on everyone else. With no need to accumulate capital or make profit there is no longer the need for armies to capture new markets and new resources. both libcoms and fiscon
In this future system, there would be tax cuts and less regulation (including less Equality of Opportunity) of business which would to increase liberty (like in the Declaration of Independence) and property rights. This would truly allow a free society
In this future system, the government would help workers from co-ops, collectives etc by promoting work efficiency (allowing for the best workers) that is not stymied by big governments livnbcon fiscon

Instead of Anarchy we should have Anarcho Conservatism which is more early non socialistic New Deal than real socialistic New Deal (which would include at least either partly privatizing SSI or doing to SSI what Jo Jorgensen wants to do to it. prosperous lifestyles (as well as the best for the continual sustenance of a libertarian social order) which should be encouraged, especially via positive influence (not ostracism), employing covenant communities which may exclude those who violate common values (similar to economic liberalism), and none or less subsides. toretain order, balance and paternalism set up
For example during the Spanish civil war in 1936, the majority of industries in revolutionary Spain were taken over and run collectively by the workers. Where it was possible in some areas workers pushed closer to a communist society, abolishing money or distributing non-scarce goods for free.
Without a state
Of course there will still be a need to protect the population from antisocial or violent individuals. But this can be done in a localised and democratic way, by a mandated, rotating and recallable body, rather than by an unaccountable police force whose brutality and even murders almost always go unpunished.
To make collective decisions, instead of "representative democracy" which governs most countries at present we propose direct democracy. True democracy is more than the right to elect a handful of (often rich) individuals to make political decisions for us for a few years, while other decisions are made unaccountably in corporate boardrooms led by the "tyranny of the market".
We can control our struggles ourselves, from our groups of workmates up through workplace and community assemblies and we can come together to coordinate across huge geographical areas using com
which is its two forms of “freedom”: subsidies and anarchy
We can find capitalism in this mess, but it exists under layers of rules, regulations, laws, affirmative action, and taxes — at federal, state, and local levels, plus any special fees and registrations — as well as the high legal cost of complying with all of this stuff.

I am ok with natural monopolies as long as they align with most of my political views otherwise I want natural monopolies to be broken up like I want non natural monopolies to be broken up.
I have a lot of issues with modern mainstream monetary policies, such as central banking and state-issued currency (and since it is too anti consumer and big gov for me), which is why in an idealized world I would be pitifully sympathetically non hostile to a combination of a Crypto Bitcoin Blockchain and a Gold Standard system being equal to modern currency to fight financial repression which sometimes happens due to the evils of Crony Capitalism and Capitalist Fascism
I support Christian Communism in very small communities like in the Book of Acts. I also support Anarcho Monarchism in some specific places and situations (I am a fan of Bane from Batman)
I am ok with Ego Communism that is fused with the type of Individualism where a force of Individuals each bring their own unique reality to compliment each other in a moral relativist sort of way
I supported the Tea Party years back and would do so today if they came back.
I am a fan of Survivalism and I believe that its a good concept to live by
I support Individualism for all people on Earth equally
I generally support private property rights and some aspects of privatization
I support right to privacy and right to be forgotten
I am against the Great Reset which I view as mid 1980s-mid 1990s Anti Heroish
I am against Free Masonry
I am against people having a sense of entitlement
Some forms of Anarchism have bad ideologies and fact checkers prove this
I am laid back in my own unique way
I am brave, articulate and smart and I believe that those are valuable traits
I am against consumerism and materialism for Christian reasons, and because people are brainwashed to be consumerists and materialists by corporations and the media who intrude on their lives. It's also a shame that consumerism and materialism spread from the US to other countries which is cultural imperialism.
It is wrong that people are obsessed with products and not people. It is pathetic that people wear the same types of clothes, follow fashion trends, have big flat screen TVs, wear Nikes sneakers or even sneakers themselves, and similar unneeded nonsense. People are slaves to brand name products and use them as status symbols and that is sad. We have to break people free of this bondage to consumerism and materialism. This in part because of corporate monopolies. See my lifestyle blog post for more
Consumerism dehumanizes people and causes people to live immorally. Consumerism is shallow, hollow and makes people think they need things that they DON'T NEED. Consumerism is basically corporations making us their slaves and that needs to end
I am extremely against many to most forms of Communism
I am against one word Marxism
expanded economics
Most small businesses are NOT tax cheats and Justin Trudeau was wrong to lie and say that
I support and encourage people to use war bonds, bonds and to save their money in savings accounts
I support people having off shore bank accounts
The government should not increase the tax of people who profit from the sale of stocks ,bonds or real estate.
I'm against President Biden's IRS bank snooping plan and his plan to unprivatize banks
socioeconomic
I support Krysten Sinema opposing Joe Biden’s 3.5 trillion dollar reconciliation bill.
I support reducing prescription drug prices
I believe that its better for corporations to voluntarily reform themselves than for them to be forced to do so
I was and still am against adding a 15 dollar an hour Minimum wage hike to the 2020 relief package.
Raising the minimum wage is not ideal because it would force full time workers into part time jobs and hurt their access to health care benefits. But as long as the minimum wage isn’t raised above 24 dollars an hour, I won’t resist
My views of Welfare are based on two or more of the fiscal views I have above. We do need to reallocate welfare spending into pro gay Straight Pride Events and our military industrial complex
I support the healthcare system (and upgrades to that system) that the UK government has had (and made) since the leadership of Tony Blair
My view on Universal Healthcare, Medicare for All, Obamacare are based on two or more of the fiscal views I have above
My views on taxing the rich are based on two or more of the fiscal views I have above
I have a triangulation position on Universal Basic Income
I do not support Build Back Better .I am glad it wasn’t passed. That bill needs so much work it would be better to create a new bills instead than to revive and fix that bill.
I am against the federal government giving money to cities and states for Halloween events, Halloween merchandise, Valentine’s Day events and Valentine’s Day merchandise. That is evil communism and I won’t let those states and cities use that money for Halloween or Valentines Day .I won’t even allow those states and cities to get that money from the federal government for those purposes. Ronald Reagan and Freddie Hayek would fully agree with me on this
I want all money that states and cities have allocated for Halloween and Valentines Day to be reallocated to non holiday related things.
I am against student debt forgiveness ideas. It is anti progressive. Most people who support it only do so because they have student loans.
I want Amazon and Big Tech to be broken up. We have to stop their monopolies. There is no reason so many people should wear the same brand of clothes, or be a member of the same social media site. Movie character Arthur Jensen's speech in his movie about how corporations are the real nations of the world today seems frighteningly prophetic after decades of increasing globalism and corporate 'synergy'.

At minimum, as long as Capitalism exists in its current form it should be beholden to various types of rules, regulations, laws, affirmative action, and taxes — at various levels within this system, along with special fees and registrations that meshes with my views in this blog libCom
I support revolutionary ultra zealousness using my own brand of subsidies and anarchy (as seen below in each paragraph in this socioeconomic section) libcom
. We need the type of rage that was done by Left Wing Democratic Revolution protestors in Chile in the late 2010s to enforce revolution and to solidify the control of the vanguard party (Anarcho Libertarian Artificial Free marketists and Left Libertarian freed marketists to take control of the economy and markets, Democratic work councils-Anarcho Syndicalists [Dictatorship of the Proletariat adjacent] all in a People’s Democracy type coalition) to lead to the utopia mentioned in below because we can’t make needed significant changes with our current structures.
This coalition will include diverse forces from a huge part of the political spectrum (unite both sides and the world’s traditional religions in a common struggle/strategy against the common enemy via a concrete instance) 4pt, as we to peoples democracy (pact of cooperation people may differ between each other, but they are always present 4pt).
This people’s democracy type coalition and the Democratic work councils-Anarcho Syndicalists [Dictatorship of the Proletariat adjacent] will have legal protections (lib con) and resist and fight against divisive counter revolutionaries that are influenced by the global liberal elite 4pt
Demotic ownership of productive resources leads to the politicization of the economy (the real synthesis of economy and polity). This is like this because economic decision making is carried out by the entire community in a human centered way (rpl centralized fed bank thing of libcom), via demotic assemblies, where the people make the fundamental macro economic decisions which affect the whole community (as citizens, instead of as vocationally oriented groups like workers). They basically create jobs by writing rules libcom
In this libertarian-egalitarian anarchist society (Inclusive Democracy) we should reject Nationalism (4pt) and through force abolish all hierarchy (anarcho libcom) (thus superiority and inferiority will not exist 4pt) creating a centralized system where virtually all are the same in power, wealth, and status (libcom)
This would be a society where differences would be accepted and affirmed without any bigoted sentiments or consideration. Bigotry would not be accetable in this pan America libertarian-egalitarian anarchist (inclusive) society. 4pt
However, the delegates (other than than representatives) are the ones with specific the mandates (Inclusive Democracy)(including mandating a defense for marginalized individuals against their loss of social standing libcon via the equivalent of traditions in a post traditional and global rehabilitated world, sacredness, progressive religion, and everything we reject with postmodernity and need to rework 4pt but reworked to sound pc) from the demotic assemblies whom are involved in a confederal demotic planning process that, in conjunction with the proposed system of vouchers, would effect the resource allocation in a confederal inclusive democracy.
The main characteristic of this proposed model, which also differentiates this from the socialist planning models, is that it explicitly presupposes a stateless, moneyless and market less economy which have precluded private wealth accumulation and privilege institutionalisation for some sections of society, while not relying on a ‘mythical’ post scarcity state of abundance, or sacrificing our freedom of choice. Basically it would be socialism that is free of its materialist, atheistic and postmodernist features 4pt
I support and take on Five Star Movement’s views of welfare (including welfare expansion of public social/socialist style libcom services/entitlement programs libcomeven if we have to break barriers anarchism by expending three quarters of the budget) which excludes education, environmental protection meant policies in favor of preserving/conserving the environment (which meshes with my left libertarian views)
