I think the CDC and Anthony Fauci did a apolitically mixed (good/above below average) job during the pandemic, especially in 2020 . EXACTLY like Joy Reid, I was skeptical of the CDC etc in 2020 like many Liberals and Progressives were because of Donald Trump's influence on the CDC but the CDC did better than I thought If the anti pandemic restriction people and anti vaxxers didn't use those methods, I'd sort sympathize with at least some of them (which seemingly includes right wing anti vaxxers) (or at least the Left wing anti vaxxers) like how the majority of Canadians sort of sympathized with the Canadian Freedom Convoy truckers I don't think Ron Desantis is a murderer or 'obsessed with death'. I think his heart was in the right place.  I live in Florida and maybe I am biased, but I think he did a decent job if not somewhat stellar job with our state during the pandemic.
